Pastor Brian is continuing with a series of messages on what to look for in a great church. Several Sundays ago, we learned about what the MESSAGE of the church should be, which is JESUS CHRIST and the salvation story. Then we learned about the MODEL of the church, as shown in Acts. We are to steadfastly continue in Him. After that, we learned about the MUSCLE, or power, of the church, learning to rely on the guidance and strength of the Holy Spirit, not our own.
Today’s sermon is about the MESSES of the church. We are a fallen people who have failed many times, redeemed by Jesus Christ, and called into a new life with Him. We looked at Acts 5 and 6, of various people who made some messes. God uses all things for His glory and to help us become new creations in Him.
