We are an Independent Bible Church proclaiming Christ and His good news.

The snowstorm hit us on January 25, 2026, and we had to cancel church. How did you spend your day at home? Here are what some of our friends and members did. See if you can guess who sent these.

Some felt a little bit frazzled as the predictions for snow accumulation for the storm continued to grow higher.

This is one description of her mood!

How did you spend your day?

Some people kept busy by cooking and cleaning.

Most of us had to dig out cars, driveways, sidewalks, and more.

The Snow Avenger battled the storm with a snowblower in each hand!

A lot of us watched the Conference Champion- ships.

Cross country skiing was popular with some people.

The animals we love had varying reactions. Some dragged their bellies in the snow. Others frolicked in the snow until they lay down to take a break. Miniature dachshunds could barely keep their heads above the snow level, even with a path shoveled for them.. All you see is a black dot.

Apparently, the buffalo love the snow, and ran like little lambs do in the spring!

Many of our older members had enough common sense to stay inside, but it brought back many pleasant memories from three of them.

Whatever you did, remember 1 Corinthians 10:31— “Whether, then, you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.”

Let all that you do be done in love. 1 Corinthians 16:14

I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways My ways,” declares the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways
And My thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9

“For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord; walk as children of light  (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), as you try to learn what is pleasing to the Lord. Ephesians 5:8-10

Sunday school time. All are invited to attend! Kids and adult classes start at 9 am.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. Romans 12:2

Church services are every Sunday at 10:15. We’d love to see you.

This week’s sermon can be viewed below: A New Year and God’s Grace. We look at Luke 5: 27-32, where it shows the call of Jesus to Levi (Matthew), who was a tax collector. God’s grace is open to all who are willing to come to Him.
